Job Description: Machine Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Director of Manufacturing
Department: Manufacturing
Employment status: Full-time/Exempt


This role involves maintenance support for the facility and production equipment. Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and ensure all procedures are documented on time. Support the manufacturing operation and by providing technical assistance, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and automation equipment with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical or electronic components and processes.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Equipment maintenance and repair
  • Work with team to maintain the facility to company standards.
  • Project work at the direction of Director of Manufacturing
  • Continuous communication with department leads, supervisors and managers.
  • Must have reasonable shift flexibility.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and familiarity of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with programming, troubleshooting and operating Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Technical expertise in repairing and maintaining production and automation equipment.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, compressed air and control systems.
  • Hands on technical knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team personnel.
  • Ability to work in a timely and efficient manner.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education, certification and work experience.

  • Manage key steps of the sales process from initial prospecting and identifying opportunities through developing the customer relationship, quoting and closing, and then managing the account.

  • Successfully anticipate, recognize and overcome potential objections.
  • Maintain regular communications with existing customers within your territory as you seek to grow each account through new quoting opportunities.
  • Manage each day and every prospect and account through our CRM system. Work with management to solicit feedback and to assure timely communication and resolution of opportunities and issues.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of your territory - customers, markets, trends, competitors and competitive issues -from which to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Utilize sales analytics to develop targeted opportunities

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of B2B inside sales representative experience preferred but not required. Will train the right motivated individual looking to enter a career in sales.
  • Experience selling products to the government or via Amazon beneficial.
  • Experience as an inside sale representative beneficial.
